Re: text
Okay.
It's not really therapy. It's just talking. Asking questions. More like... a detective.
[ Arthur has been rubbing off on him a little. ]

Re: text
What I do 'at home' isn't really applicable.
text
A lot of my job isn't really applicable here, either. You adjusting ok?
Re: text
...and yeah, I'm adjusting all right. It's easier here for both of us, with the mask allowing me to move around even if we're still entangled.

I save people from bad guys, but that's usually where it ends. Reforming the bad guys afterwards isn't usually a part of the job description.

Well, she shot him, to be frank.
But we got through it.

[And why did she have a gun?? ??? ? Why do so many inmates have weapons.]
Re: text
I made it clear that wasn't happening.

You've experienced stuff we haven't, though, right?
Re: text
Not that they're really... easy to share. Or that I'd want to.

Re: text
Frankly, it would probably fry your sanity like an egg if I tried anything more direct and anything less is just vague discussion.
Imagine trying to describe a quesadilla to something that has never tasted food. What do you even say?
text
[Quesadillas don't fry brains, though.]
Does Arthur get it?
Re: text
...I really wish this sounded less shitty. Sorry.
text
There's a lot that people don't get about me, and vice versa. It's obviously not the same thing, but I'm not going to be insulted when someone tells me I can't understand something. I'm used to it from both ends.
Re: text
For reference, trying a quesadilla was a lot more helpful than the description.

But yes, melty cheese is delicious.
