Well it's kinda an occupational hazard? It's pretty normal to drink after a long hard day's work and most people can't say no to just one more shot.

Huh? No, no, no. In my line of work on the sites we get drunk after to celebrate we're still alive.

I work with Culture Conservation Group with the government in trying to find, reclaim, and study lost artefacts from the past dynasties. They can be a little hazardous in like collapsing areas from flooding or earthquakes or because looters decided they have rights over the artefacts due to them having the bigger guns. Stuff like that.

Me? Well, actually I just use my degree in architecture to help with dating and preserving structures so we can get inside of the tombs or whatever without it collapsing ontop of us. Though, my Ershu says it's more about being the grandson of Wu Laoguo and also Xiao Sangye, but that's neither here nor there.

Ershu is my Second Uncle. Wu Laoguo is one of my grandfather's names and it means Old Dog Wu. He was pretty famous for his dogs back in the day. And Xiao Sangye is one of my nicknames. It's like saying Young Third Master.

Can't he be your uncle at the same time as the first uncle?

And why are you the third master? Master of what?

Birth order! My father is the first born son. Ershu is the second born, so he's my Second Uncle. Sanshu is the third born and he's my Third Uncle. If any of my two uncles marry and have kids, they would call my father Dashu or First Uncle.

My Sanshu would take me all over the place when I was a kid so because I was often with him, his co-workers would call me 'Little Third Master' or Xiao Sangye.

It's impolite to call someone by their name if you are not of the same social standing or that familiar with them. Also it's unlucky. You don't want your real name to be known by the wrong things.
